Graeme joined the firm of Macfie & Son in August, 1974 as Property Clerk. He became a Director in 1987 and a partner of the firm in 1997.
Graeme divides his time between having principal involvement in the running of the firm and applying his 40+ years of industry experience to the management of a sizeable portfolio, mainly located within the West End of Glasgow.
Graeme is a Fellow of the Faculty of Building. His interests include skiing, cycling and designing and making traditional stained-glass windows.
John was born in 1974 in Rottenrow, Glasgow and started with the firm as a Property Clerk in 1995, having previously worked for a firm of Solicitors. He became a Director in 2003 and partner in 2008. He performs an integral role in the running of the business.
John was Deacon of the Incorporation of Wrights in Glasgow (2014/2015), a charitable organisation which is one of the fourteen ancient incorporated crafts in the Trades House of Glasgow. He previously served as a Director of The Property Managers Association (Scotland) Ltd.
John's personal interests include adding to his collection of vinyl records, fairly moderate exercise and spending time with his family.
Joanne joined the firm in 2000 in the role of Typist/Receptionist.
She was born in Aldershot, England into an army family, eventually settling in the South Side of Glasgow.
Joanne served as Assistant to Mr. Dickson for several years before advancing to the role of Property Manager in her own right. Joanne became a Director of the firm in 2017.
She heads up a team of three in the office, dealing with a large beat of properties. One of Joanne's specialities is in the promotion of grant-aided tenemental refurbishment schemes.
Joanne’s interests include reading, travelling and architecture. She lives in the South Side of Glasgow with her husband and children.
Mary has performed the role of Paralegal within the office since joining the firm in 2009.
She was born in Donegal, Ireland but has lived in the West of Scotland for most of her life. She was originally employed in the armed forces before leaving to start a family. Upon returning to work, she was employed by David Watson Property Management for nine years and then Hacking & Paterson for a further ten. Mary latterly worked for Grant & Wilson as their paralegal for ten years, having qualified in 1999.
Mary has brought a fresh perspective to the firm in terms of credit control. The emphasis with that sort of work is on 'firm but fair' - we endeavour to apply the latter to every case.
Michael joined the firm in June, 2016, having previously worked for a prominent Letting Agency and a firm of Commercial Surveyors prior to that.
Michael brings great experience in heading-up the firm's Letting department and also handles the factoring of a modest portfolio of Tenemental properties.
His interests include archaeology, reading and hill-walking.
Leigh joined the firm in June, 2008, having worked in an administrative capacity for a number of companies since leaving school.
Initially, Leigh worked as an Accounts Assistant, later progressing to the role of Assistant Property Manager. Leigh was assigned her own beat of properties in Spring, 2018 and continues to develop her impressive skills base.
Leigh lives in the Southside of Glasgow. She enjoys reading, ice skating and spending time with her family.
Callum joined the firm in May, 2018, having previously worked for the firm of Hacking & Paterson as an Assistant Property Manager for approximately two years.
Prior to that, Callum had advanced to the post of Assistant Manager of a company providing services to the Sports Industry.
Callum is responsible for a beat of properties in the Southside of Glasgow. Also based in the Southside, his interests include playing Football, Golf and Squash.
